Welcome Address

It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to the land of Egypt; the cradle of civilization. The Egyptian Society of Cardiology & the Cardiology Department – Ain Shams University have the honor to invite all of you to attend and participate in the most comprehensive annual cardiovascular meeting in Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East.
Propagation & exchange of knowledge in cardiology is crucial to its advancement. When this occur in an atmosphere of warm culture, pleasant climate, ancient background and hospitality the times become memorable.

The Conference will be held from the27th February to 2nd March, 2012 in Fairmont Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt

The scientific program as a whole has all the ingredients to make the congress a great success.

The latest news in cardiovascular medicine will be presented through hot clinical trials sessions, meet the experts and many other sessions.
Workshops and learn the technique sessions done through live in a box modality targeting junior and practicing cardiologists will include many of the essential techniques to be known by all cardiologists.
Abstracts sessions either orally presented or moderated poster sessions will be judged by experts from all over the world and the best abstract in each subspecialty will be awarded in the young investigators contest.
